Lightweight Porous Aggregate
TC-LPA
Lightweight porous aggregate is a special artificial lightweight aggregate. It boasts excellent properties such as lightness, porosity, thermal insulation, heat insulation, and fire resistance. Its well-graded and well-shaped particles make it suitable for a wide range of applications in construction projects. Made primarily from inorganic minerals, this artificial lightweight aggregate is blended and treated at high temperatures. It can directly or partially replace natural sand and gravel, providing an integrated solution for weight reduction, thermal insulation, energy conservation, and noise reduction in various applications, including construction, horticulture, and industrial fillers.
Product Features
Lightweight and Porous: Lightweight porous aggregate features a large number of evenly distributed pores, resulting in a bulk density of 500-900 kg/m³, only 1/5-1/3 that of ordinary concrete, significantly reducing the weight of buildings.
Thermal Insulation: The porous structure imparts excellent thermal insulation properties, with a thermal conductivity as low as 0.09-0.22 W/(m·K), making it suitable for wall and roof insulation in energy-saving buildings.
Soundproofing and Noise Reduction: The porous structure provides excellent sound absorption and scattering, with an average sound absorption coefficient of 0.2-0.3. It can be used in places with high sound insulation requirements, such as schools and hospitals.
Energy-Friendly and Energy-Saving: The production process consumes low energy, is non-toxic and odorless, and meets national green building material standards.
Applications: Mainly used in construction mortar, concrete admixtures, functional backfill materials for construction, building insulation, sound insulation materials, industrial fillers, and gardening.
Combustion Class: A1 (GB 8624).
Particle Size and Grading: 0.315-0.63mm, 0.63-1.18mm; other particle sizes available on request.
Bulk Density: 500-900kg/m³.
Radioactivity: IRa ≤ 0.4, Ir ≤ 0.6 (meets GB 6566 Class A requirements).
Heavy Metal Leaching: Meets the limits set in GB 5085.3.
VOC/Formaldehyde: Not detected.
Cylinder Pressure Strength: 1.0-4.0MPa.
Water Absorption: Water absorption varies depending on particle size and application and can be customized to meet customer needs.
